Job summary

The role focuses on construction activities, safety compliance, and material handling to support operation and maintenance on federally funded sites. We seek a candidate with practical construction experience, a valid driver’s license, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of prior water and wastewater system construction experience preferred.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, performs activities related to water and wastewater system utility construction.
• Observes and complies with all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Performs physical construction including trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and main testing.
• Ensures safe working conditions including trench safety and bracing.
• Loads, unloads, identifies and distributes utility materials per project plans.
