Job summary

American States Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Water/Wastewater Construction Technician to support operations on military installations nationwide.

Under close supervision you will perform construction tasks, adhere to safety rules, and help maintain water and wastewater systems while following project plans. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Two years of water/wastewater construction experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and U.S. citizenship.
• Willingness to pass safety training as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform water and wastewater construction tasks under close supervision.
• Observe and comply with safety rules and regulations; report unsafe conditions.
• Operate and assist with trenching, pipe laying, and tests per project plans.
• Load, identify, and distribute materials; assist equipment operators as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe construction sites and perform other duties as assigned.
