Job summary

Stantec’s Water practice in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Technical Lead to guide and grow a multi-disciplinary team on water and wastewater projects. The role emphasizes design, construction administration, and strong client interaction across planning, design, and delivery stages.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in water/wastewater; a PE license; and a BS in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering, with MS preferred.

Qualifications

Experience organizing, planning, and executing water/wastewater treatment or conveyance designs.
Experience leading, coordinating, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with collaborative delivery projects with contractors and vendors.
Strong client service, project management, and design management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for team building, collaboration, and mentoring.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance and leadership for water/wastewater projects.
Manage water, recycled water, and wastewater treatment/conveyance projects through design and construction.
Direct and coordinate with multi-discipline project teams.
Prepare reports, studies, specifications, calculations, and drawings.
Communicate with clients during planning, design, and construction.
Mentor professionals in the Pacific Northwest offices.
