Job summary

Stantec's Water practice in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Technical Lead (PTL) to lead and grow a successful team delivering water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects in the region.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project management, and client collaboration across multiple delivery methods, with opportunities to mentor staff and advance leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, design, and construction of water/wastewater projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage projects.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and leadership for water/wastewater projects.
• Manage water and wastewater treatment/conveyance projects through design and construction.
• Direct and coordinate project teams across disciplines.
• Develop reports, specs, calculations, drawings, and reviews.
• Communicate with clients during planning, design, and construction.
• Promote innovation and R&D participation.
• Coordinate marketing and project delivery with leadership and PMs.
• Mentor junior professionals in Pacific Northwest offices.
• Embrace safety procedures.
