Job summary

Stantec's Water practice in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead client engagements and deliver complex treatment and conveyance projects. The role emphasizes project leadership, design management, and proactive client service.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and contribute to business development while mentoring emerging professionals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of water/wastewater treatment or conveyance experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with internal staff, subconsultants, vendors and suppliers.
• Strong client service, project management and proposal writing skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and quality.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Become engaged in business development and project delivery as a client-facing Project Leader in Municipal and/or Industrial Water markets in the Pacific Northwest.
• Manage project staff, financials, and contracts meeting performance goals and client expectations.
• Promote Stantec’s project delivery structure with Project Managers and Project Technical Leads.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership for water and/or wastewater solutions.
• Communicate with clients during planning, design, and construction.
• Identify strategic client relationships and lead BD efforts in the Pacific Northwest.
• Engage clients in discussions and translate them into opportunities.
• Support innovation and research through conferences and partnerships.
• Mentor young professionals in the Pacific Northwest offices.
• Comply with Stantec safety procedures and protocols.
