Tighe & Bond, Inc. in Worcester, MA is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to join our One Water Team.

You will help plan, design, and administer the construction of wastewater infrastructure across the Northeast, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, PE licensure, and several years of consulting experience in water or wastewater.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Multiple years of consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in water or wastewater.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer.
• Enthusiasm for learning, self-motivation, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports, from conceptual planning to construction
• Engage in technical discussions about design approaches, budget considerations, and schedule, promoting achievement of client goals on both design-bid-build and design-build projects
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to develop high-quality deliverables that align with client needs and regulatory requirements
• Delegate tasks effectively, mentoring staff engineers, and managing priorities to meet project milestones
• Participate in field work, including site visits, data collection and some construction observation
• Uphold Tighe & Bond’s commitment to excellence by delivering innovative and sustainable wastewater solutions
