Tighe & Bond in Westwood, MA is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to join the One Water Team and help plan, design, and administer the construction of wastewater infrastructure across the Northeast. The role supports a hybrid work environment and offers opportunities to work with experienced professionals on conveyance systems, treatment plants, and pump stations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the wastewater industry.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within six months.
• Enthusiasm for learning, self-motivation, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist with the development of drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports, from conceptual planning to construction
• Engage in technical discussions about design approaches, budget considerations, and schedule, promoting achievement of client goals on both design-bid-build and design-build projects
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to develop high-quality deliverables that align with client needs and regulatory requirements
• Delegate tasks effectively, mentoring staff engineers, and managing priorities to meet project milestones
• Participate in field work, including site visits, data collection and some construction observation
