Tighe & Bond, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Northeast from our Worcester, MA office.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain strong client relationships to deliver high-quality public works solutions. You will collaborate on permits, design deliverables, and construction documents while supporting growth through client development and regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Considerable consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the water and wastewater industry.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer.
• Demonstrated project management experience and strong technical skills.
• Strong leadership ability with a passion for managing and mentoring others.
• Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage the execution of projects from initial concept through construction completion, promoting adherence to technical, regulatory, and funding requirements
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and guiding them through funding options, permitting, and project execution
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight for successful project delivery
• Prepare and oversee the development of construction documents, including permit applications, drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports, while maintaining high-quality standards
• Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to address project needs and resolve design challenges
• Manage budgets and schedules, keeping projects on track while meeting client expectations and industry best practices
• Support the strategic growth by identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and contributing to proposals, interviews, and other business development efforts with new and existing clients
