Tighe & Bond, Inc. in Manchester, NH is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to join our One Water Team.

You will contribute to planning, design, and construction of wastewater infrastructure projects across the Northeast, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and supporting clients with capital improvement planning, hydraulic modeling, and asset management. The role requires a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, PE license or ability to obtain within six months, and at least five years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering; PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• Five years of consulting engineering experience in wastewater.
• Strong communication and leadership for mentoring staff.
• Experience with design-bid-build and design-build projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports from conceptual planning to construction.
• Engage in technical discussions about design approaches, budget considerations, and schedule to achieve client goals on design-bid-build and design-build projects.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams to develop high-quality deliverables meeting client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Delegate tasks, mentor staff engineers, and manage priorities to meet project milestones.
• Participate in field work, including site visits, data collection, and some construction observation.
• Uphold commitment to deliver innovative and sustainable wastewater solutions.
