Tighe & Bond is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to join the One Water Team in Worcester, MA, focusing on planning, design, and construction of wastewater infrastructure across the Northeast. You will collaborate with experts to deliver sustainable water solutions and support capital improvement programs.

The role emphasizes engineering excellence, client collaboration, and mentoring others within a hybrid work environment that supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Multiple years of consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the water or wastewater industry.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer.
• Enthusiasm for learning, self-motivation, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports, from conceptual planning to construction
• Engage in technical discussions about design approaches, budget considerations, and schedule, promoting achievement of client goals on both design-bid-build and design-build projects
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to develop high-quality deliverables that align with client needs and regulatory requirements
• Delegate tasks effectively, mentoring staff engineers, and managing priorities to meet project milestones
• Participate in field work, including site visits, data collection and some construction observation
• Uphold Tighe & Bond's commitment to excellence by delivering innovative and sustainable wastewater solutions
