Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Project Engineer for the Ohio region. This position is responsible for the design and management of water and wastewater projects involving tanks, booster stations, lift stations, and compliance with related standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, E.I.T. certification, and two years of experience preferred. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; E.I.T. within 12 months preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in water and wastewater preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning for assigned divisions/systems.
• Coordinate monthly capital meetings with operational personnel.
• Drive the 5-year capital plan for assigned divisions/systems.
• Complete all necessary paperwork needed for accounting to close the project.

Skills

Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills

Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects

Knowledge of Ten States Standards

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
