Job summary

Aqua is seeking a Project Engineer in Chesapeake, Ohio, focused on design and management of water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) certification, and 2+ years of experience in water/wastewater. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating capital projects, and managing the project lifecycle. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is preferred. The position provides an opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in water and wastewater preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings required.
• Communication skills through plan sets are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan for assigned divisions/systems.
• Coordinate monthly capital meetings and track capital.
• Drive the 5-year capital plan.
• Manage project lifecycle from selection to close out.
• Complete necessary paperwork for accounting.

Skills

Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills

Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects

Knowledge of Ten States Standards

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) certification

Professional Engineer license in Ohio (Preferred)
