Job summary
Veolia North America is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment - Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, installation, and repairs across plumbing, mechanical, electrical and pumping systems.
The role involves routine maintenance, inspecting equipment, completing CMMS work orders and responding to after-hours emergencies. Candidates need solid hands-on experience and OSHA safety awareness.
Qualifications
- High school or GED with ability to read, write and comprehend English and follow instructions.
- 6 months to 2 years of related maintenance experience.
- Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools.
- Experience using material handling equipment and precision instruments.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and pump maintenance background.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance, lubrication and adjustments on machines and related equipment.
- Inspect and troubleshoot, dismantle and repair equipment, reassemble and test for safe operation.
- Perform facility maintenance and repair; assist with clean-up and grounds upkeep.
- Report operational problems to Lead or Supervisor.
- Complete work orders in CMMS and respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
