Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a WWTF Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and facility systems at the wastewater treatment facility. This role supports reliable plant operations, regulatory compliance, and safety.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, clarifiers, aeration, disinfection, and related equipment, read schematics, use meters and diagnostic tools, and assist with

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required.
2+ years in industrial maintenance or related field.
Experience maintaining wastewater or water treatment equipment.
Industrial electrical, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, or controls experience.
Welding, machining, fabrication, or pipefitting experience.
Experience using a CMMS or electronic work-order system.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wastewater treatment equipment and facility systems.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, clarifiers, aeration equipment, and disinfection systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation problems.
Use electrical meters, hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
Respond to equipment failures, alarms, spills, and other emergencies.
Complete work orders, inspection reports, and regulatory records accurately.
