Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment at wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and incineration sites. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, disassembly/reassembly, and testing to ensure safe operation.

The role requires basic math, ability to read blueprints/manuals, and willingness to work in outdoor/indoor environments with safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with the ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Six months to two years of related experience, able to comprehend specs and manuals.
• Electrical experience a plus and familiarity with shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment at wastewater treatment facilities and related sites.
• Learns mechanical troubleshooting; dismantles and reassembles equipment and tests for safe operation.
• May perform light building maintenance and grounds tasks; handles basic facility upkeep and safety duties.
