Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a hands-on supervisor for its Western PA water and wastewater operations. You will lead facility operators, seasonal staff, and contractors, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient work order management.

You will oversee onboarding, training, and performance reviews, and contribute to budget adherence and regulatory coordination with PA DEP and local agencies.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience in water/wastewater utility operations and supervisory roles is required.
• Must obtain PA DEP Water and Wastewater Operator certifications within four years from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team including facility operators, seasonal employees, and contractors with focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Oversees onboarding, training, and performance management of staff.
• Manages Work Order process, reviews status, and ensures close-out per requirements.
