Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, seeks a Plant Supervisor to lead water and wastewater facilities in Pennsylvania. You will supervise operators, coordinate with managers, and ensure reliable operations and regulatory compliance across surface water plants, wells, and lift stations.

The role requires 3–5 years in water operations with supervisory experience, and a Pennsylvania Class A Water license is preferred. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with GIS/LIMS/WIMS/SAP are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of field experience with supervisory background in water treatment operations.
• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania state and federal drinking laws and regulations.
• Pennsylvania Class A Water license preferred; must obtain within 2 years.
• Proficient with MS Excel and able to learn GIS, LIMS, WIMS, SAP and other software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise well operators and oversee daily field activities and sampling.
• Coordinate with staff to resolve monitoring/control issues and validate tests.
• Maintain records and data for reporting and analysis.
• Order and manage inventory of supplies for assigned areas.
• Oversee capital projects and coordinate with departments and contractors.
