Job summary

Aqua America, Inc. is seeking an Operations Team Leader in White Haven, PA to oversee water and wastewater facilities, supervise operators and contractors, and uphold safety, compliance, and reliable service for our communities.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will manage budgets and the work order process, coordinate with Engineering, lead training and performance reviews, and ensure assets are maintained and regulatory requirements met.

Qualifications

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in water or wastewater utility operations and/or supervision is required.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facility operators, seasonal staff, and contractors with emphasis on safety and compliance.
• Hire, onboard, and conduct performance reviews; lead regular staff meetings.
• Manage the work order process, monitor budgets, and ensure timely closeout.
• Oversee operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance; coordinate with Engineering.
• Maintain inventories and prepare reports; liaise with utilities and regulatory agencies.
