Job summary

Aqua America is seeking a Water & Wastewater Field Supervisor for the White Haven division under the Northeast Area Manager. You will oversee the operation, maintenance, staffing, safety, budgeting, and performance of water and wastewater facilities in the assigned area.

The role requires supervising operators, managing work orders, ensuring safety and compliance, and coordinating with engineering. DEP certifications must be obtained within three years, and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in water/wastewater operations and supervisory experience required.
• Must obtain PA DEP Water and Wastewater Operator certifications within three years of hire.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of facility operators, seasonal staff, and contractors with focus on safety and compliance.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
• Manage Work Order process and ensure timely close-out and accurate coding.
• Ensure safety policies and regulatory standards are followed at all sites.
• Coordinate with area engineering and other operational groups to meet demand.
• Maintain asset inventories and ensure proper budgeting and cost controls.
