Job summary

Aqua America, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Water & Wastewater Field Supervisor for the White Haven division. The role oversees operation, maintenance, staffing, safety, budgeting, and employee performance for water and wastewater facilities within the division.

You will supervise operators and contractors, hire and train staff, manage work orders, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with engineering and regulatory agencies. A valid US driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelors degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in water/wastewater utility operations and/or supervisory experience required.
• Must obtain PA DEP Water and Wastewater Operator certifications within three years from date of hire.
• Valid U.S. drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team including facility operators, seasonal employees, and contractors with focus on safety and compliance.
• Interviews, hires, and manages performance; oversees onboarding and training.
• Manage the Work Order process for the division; review status and ensure close-out.
• Ensure safety policies and equipment safety compliance and address deficiencies.
• Oversee budgeting and capital project coordination with engineering and management teams.
