Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking a senior project leader to oversee the execution of construction projects in Austin, TX. The role focuses on leading teams, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability while managing preconstruction and field operations.

The position supports transition from estimating to field, scheduling, cost control, and client relations. Responsibilities include developing PMPs, reviewing contract documents, managing subcontractor relationships, and monitoring cash flow.

Qualifications

• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Champions the orderly, timely transition of projects from the estimating phase to the field with project review meetings.
• Completes close-out requirements and punch lists in a timely manner and manages warranty callbacks.
• Coordinates with the Project Superintendent on means and methods for profitable execution, reviewing resources and schedules.
• Establishes the project charter and a comprehensive PMP including scope, procurement, environmental, time, financial, quality, safety and risk plans.
• Has overall responsibility for project success including profitability, safety, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction, and for personnel decisions affecting the project.
