Qualifications

• Experience in preconstruction and in managing construction projects.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Champions the transition from estimating to field with project review meetings.
• Completes close-out requirements and punch lists promptly; manages warranty callbacks.
• Coordinates means and methods with the Project Superintendent for successful execution.
• Establishes PMP and project management plans to ensure project success and risk management.
• Responsible for project profitability, safety, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction; personnel decisions impact project.
• Manages billings to ensure timely payments and cash flow; follows prompt pay laws.
• Develops CPM schedules and coordinates with procurement; ensures detailed schedules are prepared.
• Assists in estimates focusing on cost control, equipment, formwork, manpower and schedules.
• Participates in business development including client contact, proposals and negotiations.
• Prevents and mitigates claims; quantifies and resolves impacts promptly.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports with cost projections.
• Prepares and executes purchase orders and subcontracts with proper insurance and lien waivers.
• Understands prime contracts, budgeting, and changing orders; uses Lean scheduling where applicable.
• Reviews, negotiates, and executes change orders, supplements, and budget adjustments.
