Job summary

Sundt Enterprise seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead assigned projects in Austin, TX, ensuring safety, profitability, and timely delivery. The role includes overseeing transitions from estimating to field, developing comprehensive project management plans, and driving client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in preconstruction and managing construction projects.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of contract documents, materials, scheduling systems, and cash flow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Champion the transition from estimating to field with project review meetings.
• Complete closeout and punch list tasks; manage warranty callbacks.
• Coordinate means and methods with the Project Superintendent and review resources.
• Create a PMP including scope, procurement, schedules, safety, quality, and risk plans.
• Own project success: profitability, safety, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Manage billings and payments to maintain positive cash flow.
• Develop CPM schedule and coordinate with procurement; Lean scheduling practices.
• Assist in estimates focusing on cost control, equipment, formwork, and manpower.
• Participate in business development: client contacts, proposals, and negotiations.
• Prevent and quantify potential claims; mitigate effects.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports with cost projections.
• Prepare and execute purchase orders and subcontracts; ensure insurance docs.
• Understand prime contracts and budgeting to stay within budget.
• Review and negotiate change orders and budget adjustments.
