Qualifications

• No experience required; actively enrolled in ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Emphasis in Civil Engineering specialties such as Structural, Environmental, Transportation, or Geotechnical.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, MVR).

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with departmental design guides, standards, and policies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support water and wastewater projects.
• Assist with basic engineering calculations and material/equipment selection.
• Support project schedules, cost estimates, and engineering deliverables.
• Develop knowledge of engineering software, design tools, and digital delivery methods.
