Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a skilled water treatment operator to maintain and operate plant equipment, perform routine tests, and monitor SCADA systems to ensure safe potable water production in compliance with New Jersey codes.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work shifts including evenings and weekends. NJDEP T-2 license or the ability to obtain it within one year is required. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and follow English instructions.
• Experience operating water treatment facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment plant equipment.
• Perform routine tests and calibrations in the field and laboratory.
• Monitor process parameters and adjust as needed per SOPs.
• Maintain accurate operation logs and reports.
• Ensure compliance with NJ codes and permits.
