Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Water Treatment Operator to maintain production and water quality for public supply. You will oversee treatment plants and wells, perform tests, calibrate chemical feed, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

This 24/7 role requires shift work as needed and a valid Idaho license pathway. Ideal candidates have related experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with digital tools and SCADA interfaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in water production or water treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain water production and quality for public consumption.
• Monitor daily system demand and weather/seasonality influences.
• Operate and maintain water treatment plants and wells.
• Perform routine water testing and record results.
• Calibrate chemical feed and adjust rates per tests or instructions.
• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair equipment.
• Work rotating shifts and on-call as needed.
• Adhere to safety, health, environmental, and security policies.
