Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to maintain water production and quality. You will monitor system demand, operate plants and wells, and work with SCADA to manage flow and treatment conditions.

Responsibilities include conducting routine water tests, calibrating feed rates, and performing maintenance. The role may require shift work and compliance with safety and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Experience in water production and/or water treatment preferred.
• Ability to read instructions, manuals, and plans.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Proficiency with digital devices and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Operate water treatment plants, wells and related equipment.
• Monitor charts, gauges, and SCADA interfaces.
• Calibrate chemical feed and adjust based on tests.
• Perform routine maintenance and record keeping.
• Work on various shifts including on-call duties.
