Job summary

Carroll Water is seeking a dependable Water Treatment Technician to service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial water treatment systems. You will work in the field across our service area, providing top‑notch customer service and documenting activities using company technology.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, valid driver’s license, and comfortable working with water treatment equipment and hand/power tools.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and water treatment‑related systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other job‑related equipment.
• Willingness to participate in weekend or on‑call rotations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain residential and commercial water treatment systems.
• Work with water treatment equipment: water softeners, RO, filtration, chemical feed, UV systems.
• Identify system issues and determine repair or service solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and replace filters, media, components as needed.
• Test and evaluate water treatment systems and water quality.
• Explain system operation and maintenance needs to customers clearly.
