Job summary

Carroll Water Systems, Inc. seeks a Water Treatment Technician to support installation, service, and maintenance of residential and commercial water systems. The role centers on diagnosing and repairing water softeners, RO systems, acid neutralizers, and filtration units while engaging customers professionally.

You will document calls, assist with training apprentices, transport tools, and uphold a safe, organized work site. OSHA-like safety and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical or plumbing-related systems.
• Knowledge of water treatment, plumbing, or related field preferred.
• Ability to safely use tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving/insurance requirements.
• Willingness to participate in weekend or on-call rotation as needed.
• Ability to travel to job sites within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and service water treatment systems (water softeners, RO, acid neutralizers, filtration).
• Interact with customers in a professional, service-oriented manner.
• Document service calls, customer interactions, and system performance.
• Assist with training and mentoring apprentices or helpers.
• Load, transport, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
