Veolia is seeking a Process Engineering Project Technical Leader to guide the full lifecycle of water, wastewater, and waste treatment solutions. You will own process design, lead a team of engineers, and ensure solutions meet technical and customer requirements across North America.

You’ll balance technical risk with commercial viability, mentor engineers, and present Veolia’s expertise to customers and industry forums while advancing decarbonization and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (advanced degrees considered).
• Related experience, preferably in process engineering, with emphasis on design/operation of water/wastewater/waste treatment systems.
• Leadership experience or capability: connect people, align and motivate a team, train/coach, make decisions with limited information.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of complete water, wastewater, or waste treatment solutions with process flow sheets and mass balance.
• Own the overall Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and process guarantees, coordinating with engineers responsible for technologies.
• Set project process strategy, design basis, safety factors, and approach to meeting customer requirements while staying competitive.
• Coordinate Process Engineers, define deliverables/schedules, assign work, ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Identify/mitigate technical risks across the treatment solution with the project team.
• Serve as lead technical contact for customers and internal functions; troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure regulatory understanding and liaise with agencies as needed.
• Maintain accountability for project success, including performance, operation, and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate proactively, collaborate across teams, and lead corrective actions; represent Veolia’s expertise externally.
