Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to maintain water production and quality for public consumption. The role involves monitoring system demand, operating treatment plants, and using SCADA interfaces to communicate and control equipment.

The position requires a high school diploma, Idaho license, and ability to obtain a Level II within one year. Candidates must be able to work rotating shifts outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Idaho driver’s license required.
• Idaho Drinking Water Treatment license required or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine water testing and record results.
• Monitor gauges, charts, and SCADA screens.
• Calibrate and adjust chemical feed rates per lab results.
• Perform maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities.
• Operate water treatment plants and wells with safety and accuracy.
• Support on-call shifts and rotate as needed.
• Comply with safety, health, environmental, and security rules.
