Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Water Treatment Operator to operate and repair pumps, motors, treatment equipment and SCADA, ensuring water production and quality for public use. The role involves data logging, compliance submissions, and close work with the Chief Operator.

Responsibilities include maintenance, calibration of equipment, and staying compliant with health and safety regulations. On-call and rotating shifts may be required; Rhode Island licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in Operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and water quality monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Operate and repair pumps, motors, treatment equipment, controls, and SCADA.
• Submit routine compliance documents to the State.
• Maintain equipment by troubleshooting and performing calibrations as needed.
• Monitor charts, collect data, and log chemical usage.
• Ensure water production and quality for public consumption.
