Job summary

Apex Water and Process is a trusted leader in water and process management, delivering integrated solutions to help industries reduce costs, maximize efficiency, stay compliant, and optimize sustainability. This Account Specialist role focuses on supporting and growing customer accounts with hands-on training and mentorship.

The position emphasizes developing technical knowledge of water treatment programs, partnering with customers, and may progress to an Account Manager role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical/analytical aptitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and exhibit leadership
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Ability to learn Company product portfolio and applications
• Ability to travel including overnight travel
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) or equivalent skills

Responsibilities

• Serve existing customer base and grow territory with leadership
• Develop account management responsibilities as a territory is developed
• Interact with site personnel to sell and support water treatment products and services
• Work onsite at customer locations to ensure water treatment programs operate optimally
• Assist with chemical feed systems
• Participate in delivery, installation, commissioning and repair of systems
• Manage orders, track inventory and act as the face of the Company for assigned customers
• Deliver value through routine service and business reviews with clear communication
• Project professional image with punctual and reliable attendance
• Develop knowledge to provide sound water treatment recommendations
• Travel up to 5% outside the region including overnight stays
• Keep vehicle in good operating condition and maintain it
• Participate in customer-facing seminars and quarterly team meetings
• Adhere to safety policies and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
