Job summary

Apex Water and Process is seeking an Account Manager to maintain and expand our customer base in the Twin Cities and surrounding area. You will use your sales and technical knowledge of water treatment to recommend solutions and communicate results to leadership and clients.

Responsibilities include managing accounts, engaging with site teams, performing routine service, and ensuring programs run within optimal ranges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of cooling tower systems, steam generation, and closed-loop water systems.
• Prior work experience in a technical sales or service role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude for diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Willingness to be trained in equipment installation, commissioning, and repair at customer sites.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; able to learn internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer base and grow territory with leadership support.
• Sell and support water treatment products and services at customer sites.
• Provide routine service to ensure programs operate within optimal ranges.
• Assist with chemical feed and inventory management.
• Participate in delivery, installation, commissioning and repair of systems.
• Maintain vehicle and adhere to safety policies.
• Draft detailed service reports within 24 hours of visits.
