Job summary

Apex Water and Process Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Account Manager to maintain and expand the company’s customer base by maximizing profitability of assigned accounts and by soliciting new business.

You will use your sales expertise and water treatment knowledge to recommend and apply solutions, communicate results to leadership and customers, and travel locally to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude with ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Experience in technical sales or service.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel for overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer base and grow territory with leadership support.
• Sell and support water treatment products and services at customer sites.
• Work onsite to ensure water treatment programs operate within optimal ranges and take corrective actions.
• Assist with chemical feed and inventory management.
• Participate in delivery, installation, commissioning and repair of systems at customer sites.
• Manage and place orders, track inventory, and serve as the face of the company.
