Job summary

City of Pasadena is seeking a skilled maintenance worker to perform manual tasks on water storage sites and related equipment.

You will work with a team on daily and weekly upkeep, including mowing around tanks, repairing fences, and maintaining pumps and motors. The position requires keeping licenses current and complying with city policies; the city offers generous benefits and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and good driving record.
• Obtain Class C Groundwater License.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual maintenance tasks on water storage sites and equipment.
• Work with co-workers as a team on daily and weekly upkeep of water lines, meters, and plants.
• Mow and trim around tanks and fences; repair fences, paint pipes and buildings; maintain pump and motor systems.
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and clearances; adhere to schedule and city policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
