Job summary

The City of Pasadena is seeking a maintenance worker to perform skilled tasks on equipment used for water maintenance, lines, meters, and plants. You will work with a team on daily and weekly maintenance of water storage sites, mow and trim around tanks, and perform repairs as needed.

A valid Texas driver's license and Class C Groundwater License are required. This full-time position offers very generous benefits, including affordable health insurance, on-site clinic, free virtual visits,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience or training; equivalent combo.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must obtain Class C Groundwater License.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance at skilled level on equipment for water maintenance, lines, meters, and plants.
• Work with team on daily/weekly maintenance of water storage sites.
• Mow and trim around tanks and fences; repair fence, paint pipes/buildings; pump and motor maintenance.
• Adhere to schedules, timekeeping, attendance policy.
