Job summary

The City of Pasadena is seeking a skilled maintenance worker to perform manual tasks at water storage sites and assist with water lines, meters, and plant maintenance. You will mow around tanks and fences, and occasionally repair fences, paint pipes and buildings, and maintain pumps and motors.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, valid Texas driver’s license, and a Class C Groundwater License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in construction trades such as concrete work, pipe work, electrical and general labor.
• Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record.
• Obtain Class C Groundwater License.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual tasks at a skilled level involved in maintenance of water, lines, meters, and/or plants.
• Work with coworkers as a team on daily/weekly maintenance of water storage sites.
• Mow and trim around tanks and fences; repair fences, paint pipes and buildings, and maintain pumps and motors.
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, clearances, and job requirements.
• Work assigned schedule and comply with City timekeeping and attendance policy.
