Job summary

Prince William County Service Authority Inc. is seeking a versatile utility worker to support water and sanitary sewer operations.

You’ll join a crew handling maintenance, repair, and construction of mains and service lines, locate utilities, and ensure safe work zones. Required credentials include a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements, a DOT Medical Card, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; or a combination of education and experience.
Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements by hire or within 120 days.
Valid Medical Examiner's Card from a Virginia DOT physical by hire or within 120 days.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintenance, repair, and construction of water and sewer lines (mains and laterals).
Locate and mark underground sanitary sewer and water lines and related structures.
Set up safe traffic control for personnel and equipment; operate various vehicles and machinery.
Assist in daily maintenance and upkeep of all equipment; perform field locating and sketches of facilities.
Assist in VA811 Miss Utility ticket processing and related paperwork.
