Job summary

Prince William County Service Authority Inc. seeks an Experienced Team Leader to oversee the construction, repair, and maintenance of water distribution and sewage collection systems.

You will supervise staff, interpret plans, ensure site safety, and manage equipment and materials. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least four years in water utility work, and licenses including Class A CDL with Tanker, DOT medical card, and work-zone certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in maintenance, repair, and construction of water distribution and sewage collection systems.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement on hire or within 120 days.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Card and VDOT Basic Work Zone Traffic Control Certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in maintenance, repair, and construction of water and sewage systems.
• Interpret plans and maps; ensure job site safety and proper procedures.
• Oversee training, performance evaluations, and direct oversight of staff.
• Coordinate with other divisions for field checks and GIS updates.
