Job summary

EmergencyMD in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking a Utility Worker I to perform maintenance and construction work related to water and sewer systems. You will install and repair pipelines, operate work vehicles, and assist with maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL Class A (or the ability to obtain one), and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Training will be provided for all necessary equipment usage.

Qualifications

• Ability to train in use of construction equipment.
• Must wear a respirator in certain applications.
• No experience required; we will train.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair water and sewer lines.
• Maintain and clear right-of-ways.
• Operate various work vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with hydrant and valve maintenance.
