Job summary

Prince William County Service Authority is seeking an entry-level Operations & Maintenance worker to support the maintenance, repair, and construction of water and sanitary sewer systems in the county. You will operate diverse equipment, locate underground facilities, and assist with VA811 Miss Utility tickets while following safety standards.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements within 120 days of hire, a DOT medical card, and a High School diploma or

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
CDL-A with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements required within 120 days of hire.
Valid Medical Examiner's Card required within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintenance, repair, and construction of water and sewer lines as part of a crew.
Assist in reducing infiltration/inflow in sanitary sewer systems.
Perform field locating and marking of water/sewer facilities.
Operate various equipment (dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, etc.) as needed.
Support daily maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
