Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Water Business Group Professional Services Director, providing executive leadership for technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice. The role aligns technical practice groups to strengthen delivery, standards, and client outcomes across HDR’s global architecture marketplace.

Reporting to the WBG President, you will partner with operations, market sector, and technical leaders to advance technical excellence,

Qualifications

Professional engineer registration.
Extensive leadership and management of professional services, program management, and project delivery.
Proven ability to mentor diverse technical and service delivery teams.
Ability to collaborate with senior leaders across operations, marketing and technology leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead staff development and training in technical, professional and delivery competencies.
Evaluate and adopt professional services technologies and digital delivery tools.
Coordinate staff training on policies, risk management, and quality assurance.
Drive continuous improvement through QA/QC standards and lessons learned.
Support recruiting, staffing, and development of key personnel across the group.
