Job summary

HDR is hiring a Water Business Group Right of Way Director to refine and implement a comprehensive WBG ROW program. The role reports to the Planning Program Director and partners with HDR's ROW leadership to align market sectors, clients, and staff.

The Director will drive market penetration, define growth strategies across geographies, and coordinate with clients to integrate ROW acquisition and real estate solutions on key projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated industry leadership and active engagement in industry associations.
• Experience developing and managing a wide range of client relationships and pursuits.
• Experience with water-related infrastructure and Federal/State ROW laws/regulations (FHWA, Uniform Relocation Act).
• Professional real estate license(s) or related designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical focal point for the WBG to deliver Right of Way services.
• Collaborate with Market Sector Directors to develop and implement strategic plans for growth.
• Recruitment, mentoring, and aligning Right of Way staff to meet client needs and project goals.
