Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in environmental or civil engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or can be obtained within 6 months of employment; expected to become licensed in MN and ND.
• Minimum of six years of experience.
• Prior consulting experience preferred.
• Preferably two years of project management experience coordinating and managing tasks and interacting with clients and environmental regulatory agency contacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory agencies and internal staff.
• Perform and oversee project technical work including design, permitting and construction aspects.
• Lead water resource planning studies for conveyance, flood analysis and water quality.
• Prepare technical reports, design drawings, bidding documents and permit applications.
• Lead or participate in the permitting process and meetings with clients and agencies.
