Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to support client management, project oversight, and technical delivery within our water resources group. The role spans independent work on smaller projects to leading teams on larger efforts, with consulting experience and project management highly valued.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering, be a licensed professional engineer or able to obtain licensure within six months

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering.
• P.E. licensure within 6 months; MN/ND licensure preferred.
• At least 6 years of related experience in water resources.
• Experience in project management and client coordination.
• Experience with planning, permitting, design, and construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals; manage project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and staff.
• Lead water resource planning studies for conveyance, flood analysis, and water quality.
• Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and permit applications.
• Lead or participate in permitting processes with clients and agencies.
• Interface with clients and other Stantec offices on multiple projects.
