Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Minnesota is seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Water Resources Engineer to work independently on varied projects and mentor junior staff.

You will lead analyses to ensure reliability, resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the water infrastructure lifecycle. Responsibilities include overseeing multiple projects, serving as Engineer-of-Record, coordinating with clients and consultants, leading design development, and supporting proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 7-8 years of experience; hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and related analyses preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple projects, including high-complexity work.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record and provide technical leadership.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, owners, and contractors.
• Lead design development, cost estimating, and value analyses.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise engineers on scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Develop proposals, contribute to contract negotiations, and assist with marketing.
