Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Principal level Water Resources Market Leader to guide our national Water Resources Practice from one of our U.S. offices, including Austin, TX.

The role combines technical leadership with business development and client management for water supply, permits, and groundwater/surface water issues. You will lead a team of engineers and scientists, build client relationships, and drive strategy to grow market share while delivering complex water resources projects

Qualifications

• 10+ years in water resources or hydrogeology
• Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
• Proven sales and business development success
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork

Responsibilities

• Strategic business planning to target water resources clients
• Lead complex water resources projects including permitting and management
• Engage in client relationship management and growth initiatives
• Mentor junior staff and lead project delivery
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and budgets
• Lead field hydrogeology programs and modeling when needed
• Travel to client sites and office locations as required
