Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Principal level Water Resources Market Leader to join our national Water Resources Practice with offices in Phoenix, AZ; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX, or remote as allowed.

This role combines technical leadership, client relationship management, and growth responsibilities. You will develop and execute a strategy to expand Geosyntec's market share in Water Resources, lead complex projects on water supply management, water rights permitting, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Water Resources, Hydrogeology, Civil, Environmental or related engineering.
Advanced degree preferred.
Professional registration (i.e., PE, CHG).

Responsibilities

Lead strategic business planning to segment and target specific clients for water resources projects.
Engage with project and operations staff to align delivery capabilities with market demands.
Serve as Client Account Manager on key accounts.
Participate in professional societies and meetings to increase visibility and recruit.
Direct projects ensuring budgets, quality, and follow-on work; incl. groundwater and regulatory analyses.
Recruit, mentor, and manage junior staff and mid-career engineers/scientists.
Lead major proposals and provide senior client-facing leadership.
Deliver technical projects and manage multiple concurrent assignments.
Prepare technical reports, plans, and proposals.
Drive travel to client sites as needed.
