Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Principal level Water Resources Market Leader to join our national Water Resources Practice, based out of our Phoenix, AZ; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX offices or any other US offices. A remote work option may be available at the Company's discretion.

The role focuses on developing and implementing a strategy to grow Geosyntec's water resources market share, leading complex projects and building client relationships across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources, Hydrogeology, Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline (required)
• Advanced degree in the same/similar (preferred)
• Professional registration (PE, CHG) (required)

Responsibilities

• Strategic business planning to target specific clients for water projects; focused on market demands.
• Engagement with staff to align Geosyntec's service delivery with market needs.
• Serve as Client Account Manager on selected critical accounts.
• Participate in professional societies and meetings to raise the firm’s visibility and recruitment impact.
• Project directorship: manage budgets, quality, and follow-on work for water resources projects.
• Recruiting, mentoring, and developing junior staff and mid-career engineers/scientists.
• Reviewing and leading major proposals and providing senior leadership in client meetings.
• Technical project delivery and management of multiple concurrent assignments.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, and proposals.
